As reported by Redanian Intelligence, a website dedicated to all things The Witcher (thanks, Comic Book), new shots from Saunton Sands, Devon, UK, show heavily armoured warriors on horseback, fueling fan speculation that they’re the villains from The Witcher 3. After a couple of coronavirus-related wobbles last year, production on the second series of Netflix’s The Witcher adaptation is now well underway - and new casting details have confirmed some of the stars set to bring a range of familiar characters to life as the season rolls on....
The claims come from GameSpot , which alleges it has information directly from a private Discord server through which Hasan Kahraman of Blue Box Game Studios, Abandoned’s director, communicates with a handful of selected fans. In exchange for access to “screenshots, animations, and even a page of the game’s script”, the members are required to sign a NDA, so some would only speak about the project under strict anonymity. Sharing its findings with PC World, EVGA has now revealed that while it wasn’t able to replicate the issue using a copy of the New World beta, under X-ray analysis the less-than-two-dozen impacted RTX 3090s it received - all originating from an early 2020 production run - displayed “poor workmanship” on the soldering around the MOSFET circuits that powered the cards. EVGA also dismissed theories suggesting failures were related to RTX 3090 fan controllers, explaining errors some users were seeing resulted from third-party monitoring tools such as HWInfo and GPU-Z incorrectly reporting noise from the i2c bus as the fan controller failing....

Review copies for Oddworld Inhabitants’ game were released yesterday, with a note on the bugs that have shipped alongside the game. “There have been a few instances in our testing over the Easter weekend where Abe gets stuck in an infinite falling loop,” reads the note to reviewers. “This happens when jumping, falling, or death isinterrupted over a single (just one) frame by another state.” If players encounter the bug, which freezes Abe in place, they’re advised to reset to the last checkpoint, where they’ll be able to resume progress....
