Returning in Destiny 2 during Season of the Lost, following on the likes of Braytech Werewolf and Horror Story from previous years, the Jurassic Green is a possible drop during Festival of the Lost. If you’ve been on the lookout for a new pulse rifle, the Jurassic Green is one worth hunting for. This page explains how to get the Jurassic Green and our Jurassic Green god roll recommendation - alongside other rolls which might come in handy. On this page: The limited time event offers a great chance to obtain this new weapon fairly easy, although it will require some more of your time to get the god roll. To farm Jurassic Greens, you have to take part in the Haunted Lost Sectors activity. You have a chance of being rewarded with a Jurassic Green roll once you open the chest at the end of the run. As with most loot, drops aren’t guaranteed. Jurassic Green is also awarded as part of the Third Shot’s a Charm Event Callenge. This is awarded after amassing a large number of kills with a pulse rifle. Focusing on using a pulse rifle while running the Haunted Sector is the most effecient way to progress this challenge while farming. As per usual, coming up with a ‘best’ combination of rolls and perks is rather tricky since it will vary depending on your taste and the modes that you have in mind for the weapon. A few will be great for PvE, while others excel at PvP instead. The community has baptized these ‘god rolls’ - mostly due to their sheer power and how they increase each weapon’s capabilities even further, or compensate some weapons that might be lacking a buff to be optimal with the rest. Here is our recommended Jurassic Green god roll in Destiny 2:

Arrowhead Break High Caliber Rounds Subsistence Golden Tricorn

We will pretty much always recommend Arrowhead Break when it’s an option on a weapon that fires rapidly. This helps control recoil immensly, and the slight bonus to handling is a nice boon to weapon switching and reloading speed. High Caliber Rounds are great in PVP for inflicting flinch on other Guardians, and make it so that you can stun-lock weak enemies in PVE with good shooting. It’s a great thing to have in any mode. Subsistence feeds ammo back into the magazine every time you get a kill. Combine that with the previous perks and Jurassic Green can tear through large groups of minor enemies. Incandescent is a great option if you are focusing on a Solar 3.0 build, due to it’s ability to inflict Scorch. For everyone else, Golden Tricorn is the way to go. Weapon kills boost damage by 15%, and getting kills with grenades or melee powers increase weapon damage by a full 50%. That’s an enormous bonus to damage, and easy to activate in most scenarios. As per usual, once you have your preferred roll, be sure to upgrade it to a Masterwork to give it a stat boost, ability to generate Orbs on multi-kills, and add the option of a kill tracker!
