A translation of its description states: “The stage is a far future where humanity is defeated by the moon in front of the overwhelming force of ‘mechanical life forms’ that aliens carry out. ‘2B’ belonging to the newly organised Android unit ‘YoRHa’ will throw themselves into a fierce battle to recapture the earth”. Additionally, a new Twitter account has been set up for the upcoming anime (@NieR_A_ANIME)....

This new update sees changes being made to the app’s overall design, as well as the ability to see which of your friends are online. In addition to this, version 2.0.0 will also allow you to change your online-status settings and view your friend code without having to turn on your Nintendo Switch. On the App Store, Nintendo stated “other minor changes have also been implemented”. The update is the app’s biggest one yet, and will hopefully make that bit more user friendly....

A new report by Nikkei states the change will help Nintendo shift greater stock volumes more quickly, and also for less money. Vooks, which translated the report, calculated that Nintendo had already shrunk the Switch’s box by around 14 percent for its more recent Switch OLED version. The suggestion, therefore, is that Nintendo is looking to shave off a further six percent of box volume to slim down its shipments even more....

There’s a huge amount to this expansion - there are 11 new maps and associated boss fights added to the Atlas, including new locations such as the Dry Sea, Forking River, Frozen Cabins and Grave Trough. You get to specialise each region of your Atlas with its own passive tree, craft Watchstones to refine your rewards, and select up to 10 map bosses to face simultaneously under the watch of the Atlas’ new pinnacle boss: the Maven....

Available from May 7th, Mementos are entirely optional, although we’d recommend that you don’t ignore them completely as they serve some useful purposes. Their intended purpose is to be home to “Requests”, small problems for the Phantom Thieves to tackle that you pick up in the overworld, and these problems are then solved by killing a particular enemy in Mementoes. Without spoiling specifics, it might also be worth keeping on top of them to help with the final dungeon, though you won’t miss anything or suffer if you opt out of doing any of them at any point up until the end....

That probably leaves most of you that picked up the standard edition of Persona 5 for free on PlayStation Plus wondering what bang for your buck you’re getting with the Royal edition of the game. Royal is essentially the definitive version of Persona 5 that makes a lot of improvements on the base game. You won’t have to spend as much time raising your social stats, as Royal introduces plenty of new features to speed up the process, including playing video games and studying at the library....

PlayStation VR2, as it’s now officially known, will boast 4K HDR OLED panels, offering a 110-degree field of view. These panels will have a resolution of 2000x2040 per eye, and frame rates of 90/120Hz. You’ll interact with games using the previously-revealed PlayStation 5 VR controllers - now officially branded the PlayStation VR2 Sense. Integrated cameras within the headset will track your movement, as well as the Sense controllers. Eye tracking will mean you can look in a specific direction to serve as an additional input....

The Ultra Beasts are a group of extradimensional Pokémon who entered the Pokémon universe during Gen 7. The first Ultra Beast to make an appearance in Pokémon Go was Nihilego as part of the first Go Fest event in 2022; Buzzwole, meanwhile, was originally released during Go Fest Seattle in July 2022. The differences between the teams are purely cosmetic, but it’s worth siding with the same team as a friend, allowing you to tackle Gyms easier. Once you have joined a team, you can help defend or challenge Gyms at your leisure. Things have changed since Gyms first launched though; gone is the Prestige system and the 10 Pokémon limit, and in comes a new system focused on Motivation, some new items, and even some Gym Medals, too....

Moltres is categorised as the Flame Pokémon and is a member of the legendary bird trio. Like all Legendary Pokemon in Pokémon Go, Moltres will appear in five-star raids. Depending on the strength of your Pokémon, you may need to team up with other trainers and, thanks to Remote Raiding, you can do this from home. Moltres makes a reappearance during the Season of Go, appearing alongside Zapdos and Articuno during July 2022....

Speedrunner and content creator Werster has shared a video of him speedrunning the game, which is believed to be a world record for an ‘any%’ speedrun of the game. Of course he uses plenty of glitches and tricks for this feat, skipping out trainer battles and even Elite Four challenges. Those glitches and tricks include the likes of turning the music volume to zero which stops jingles from loading; interrupting door opening animations to avoid other scripts starting (like battles and cutscenes); and using other interruptions to open multiple menus, surf over land and travel out of bounds....
