Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith (CSK&D), the firm behind the ongoing class action lawsuit against Nintendo over Joy-Con drift, asked affected customers to get in touch via an online form. “CSK&D is investigating a potential class action based upon reports that Sony PS5 DualSense controllers for the PlayStation 5 console can experience drift issues and/or fail prematurely,” the firm said. “Specifically, it is reported that the joystick on certain PS5 DualSense controllers will automatically register movement when the joystick is not being controlled and interfere with gameplay....
The controversy surrounding Activision Blizzard has only deepened since then; November saw the release of a damning Wall Street Journal report detailing further alleged sexual harassment, assault, and inappropriate behaviour at the company - with the publication levying particular criticism at CEO Bobby Kotick, claiming he’d been aware of the allegations of sexual misconduct and mistreatment of female employees across the company “for years”. Despite swift industry condemnation - Xbox, Nintendo, and PlayStation all made statements condemning Activision Blizzard - and a petition signed by more than 1,800 company employees demanding Kotick step down, Activision’s board of directors all rallied around the CEO, saying it “remains confident” in Kotick’s “leadership, commitment and ability”....

Steam looks to be selling the Minecraft Dungeon Ultimate Edition, which includes six DLC packs baked into the game like a pixelly Minecraft cake. Or baked potato. “Unlock special digital bonus content to become the ultimate hero!” Steam’s description reads. “Download the Ultimate Edition today and receive digital artwork from each DLC as well as the entire game soundtrack featuring 200+ tracks. In its latest financial report, Nintendo announced it had shifted 3.34m copies of the game over the past two quarters, meaning it has sold more than 38.74m copies to date. In contrast, Mario Kart Wii had 37.38m sales in its lifetime. The sales also continue to ensure Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains the best selling game on Nintendo Switch to date, closely ahead of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was an expanded port of the Wii U game, which saw less than stellar sales thanks to the Wii U’s disappointing player base....
