The person leaking the game seems to have received their physical copy of the game early, as evidenced by them uploading a picture of the box. Reality Labs, the division of Meta which works on its virtual reality and metaverse products, posted a net $2.8bn loss over the last three months. Revenue during this period saw a 48 percent increase to $452m, which CFO Dave Wehner attributed to sales of Meta Quest 2 during Meta’s earnings call with investors, but this was heavily outweighed by the costs and investments Meta is putting into Reality Labs. In the earnings call, the newly announced price hike of Meta Quest 2 units was seemingly confirmed to have been put in action in an attempt to mitigate losses of Reality Labs by Wehner....

According to Hollywood Reporter, Netflix is working alongside UCP - the division of Universal Studio Group behind The Umbrella Academy and Chucky - to develop the brand-new adaptation with anime house Science SARU “on tap to provide the animation work”. Scott Pilgrim’s artist/creator Bryan Lee O’Malley is writing and executive producing the show with BenDavid Grabinski, and both are also on board as showrunners should the series “move forward”. Science SARU’s Eunyoung Choi will serve as producer, and Abel Gongora as director....

Sol Cresta was delayed from its December launch date, with Platinum’s Hideki Kamiya announcing the news during an hour-long livestream titled “Sol Cresta: Hideki Kamiya’s Very Sorry Stream”. The heavily advertised anti-cheat measures have yet to be introduced, of course - which means the cheat systems players use in Warzone and Modern Warfare 2019 are very likely still functional - but nonetheless, the prevalence of in-game cheating is once again dominating the game’s reddit and social media pages. Right now the beta is only available for those who’ve pre-ordered the shooter but already players are reporting - and even providing video evidence - of what seem to be wall hacks and other cheats (thanks, VGC)....
The revelation comes from a Twitter thread posted by Yuji where states he filed a lawsuit against Square Enix following his dismissal, which has now been settled. Last year, Yuji left Square Enix following the disastrous launch of Balan Wonderworld, which sold less than 2100 copies in its opening week in Japan. At the time, Yuji said he could not explain the reason behind his departure, which we know now was due to the ongoing lawsuit....
