The YouTuber, who has uploaded their videos to the channel Re-Imagined Games, started work on the remake over two months ago. In order to create the game, they’ve had to learn Unreal Engine 5 with zero experience in video game development. Re-Imagined Games uploaded a cinematic trailer for the remake and some gameplay footage earlier this week, which I’ve embedded below. The person behind Re-Imagined Games is a professional digital artist, and they’ve definitely done a brilliant job at making Chris Pratt’s Mario look realistic....

However, it turns out that if you remove all of his hair (bar his eyebrows, thank goodness), he looks really quite different… and I am not sure that is a good thing. As shared by prolific modder Speclizer, who recently unlocked God of War Ragnarök’s unfinished photo mode, there is now a The Last of Us Part 2 mod that makes Joel’s head and face almost as smooth as a baby’s bottom....

In Hitman 3, PSVR owners will be able to experience the series’ acclaimed stealth action in first-person, directly through the eyes on Agent 47. We got a brief look at that following IO’s initial VR unveiling in August last year, but now the developer has shared new gameplay, illustrating how the series’ familiar action will be transformed via PSVR. In the video, players can be seen bamboozling NPCs from behind, peeking around corners to unload a few bullets, sneakily concealing themselves with a newspaper to engage in unseen surveillance, hoisting bodies over ledges, even felling a grand piano lid on one unsuspecting NPC, all with the additional sense of presence VR affords....

It offers a final look at the Lands Between ahead of Friday’s release, including a glimpse at new environments and bosses. And I reckon I was right about Gibson, because Jack Move is a cyberpunk JRPG, albeit one with modern sensibilities, which means the pixel-art is smooth and Treasure-textured and the action is implausibly brisk. Straight up: this is a lovely thing....
