Hotfix 0.6.1.3, which is available now, introduces “bug fixes and a weekend Easter event” with every location hiding “several Easter eggs to hunt and find”. But it’s not just a meaningless holiday activity; collect all the eggs in every location - you can track how many you have beneath the map in the truck - and you’ll restore each team members’ sanity to 100 per cent, too. The game mixes elements of psychological horror with deck-building roguelike gameplay and puzzle elements, and was nominated at the BAFTAs earlier this year. It’s already available on PC but will come to PlayStation with extra controller features, though there’s no release date yet. Your stoat companion will play audio from the controller, atmospheric lighting will “spill out”, and there will be haptic feedback to enhance “every grisly action”. Yep, you read that right. The Yuri Lowenthal-voiced Spidey from Insomniac’s PlayStation game series will be part of the upcoming animated multiverse movie. Insomniac’s Spidey incarnation can be briefly seen in Across the Spider-Verse’s latest trailer - although it is unclear how much of a role the character will play in the final film. Across the Spider-Verse, due out next summer, is the sequel to 2018’s excellent animated Miles Morales movie Into the Spider-Verse....

As part of The Winter’s Expansion DLC, out on 28th October, Mercenaries mode will be getting more content, and we’ll finally be able to play as the lady herself. But in order to accomodate her stature, the development team had to make a small compromise on her height. Speaking to Polygon, director for the expansion Kento Kinoshita talked about how the team adapted the three new characters playable in Mercenaries for gameplay....

Atun’s Folly, as the update is known, aims to enrich The Falconeer’s entertaining core - which plops players atop giant falcons to explore and dogfight their way across a visually sumptuous map - by introducing expanded piracy options into the world. Players can visit the titular Atun’s Folly - a pirate settlement situated on the back of a turtle - to embark on missions that specifically boost their pirate infamy: taking down trading vessels, stealing loot, and attacking Imperial and Mancer forts....
