It’s been a hot while since my first mod round-up for Spider-Man Remastered. Since then, more modders have shared their work on Nexus Mods. Here are some more mods which put people who have no business being in Spider-Man into Spider-Man. First up we have TangoTeds’s Kermit creation. It’s slightly bizarre to see a human-sized Kermit standing next to regular sized people in-game, I won’t lie. Talk about The Muppets Take Manhatten… Kratos is everywhere these days....

As we detail below in our Spider-Man suit unlock list, there are 25 standard suits, plus three hidden ones that only appear once you reach a point in the story when they’re unlockable, taking you to 28 total. Most are unlocked through standard levelling up, but some require you to fulfill some specific tasks or reach certain parts of the story - again, we explain how to unlock every Spider-Man suit in the table....

The popular Halo-meets-Portal first-person shooter got a big update overnight that added the new mantling feature. This is designed as a jetpack boost, so there is no first-person animation that interferes with aim/gunplay, developer 1047 Games explained. You can turn it off in settings. Here’s how the mantling looks: Meanwhile, Splitgate now has Nvidia Reflex support. This means PC players using Nvidia GPUs “will shave precious milliseconds off reaction times”, 1047 Games said....

Tilting Point specialises in mobile free-to-play games. Some of its most recently published games include Warhammer: Chaos and Request, Narcos: Idle Cartel, and SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off. The publisher has now partnered with Netflix to release three games on the platform, with SpongeBob: Get Cooking already available to download and play now. Another Narcos game called Cartel Wars Unlimited will be released soon, and a different “beloved Netflix show adaptation” has been teased....

What’s more, these demos can be launched straight from a compatible web browser without needing a Stadia account. Players will also be able to access the Stadia storefront without an account, while games on the store will start showing up in Google search results. The feature was trialled out in October last year, which Google claims resulted in a 35% increase in click-through rates compared with Buy or Claim buttons, as well as a 70 percent boost in player engagement....

A post on the r/gaming subreddit appeared to show a test-build copy of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 for PSP, which belongs to poster’s fiancé. “LucasArts was a client of a relative of my Fiancé back in the day, and he got to play test a lot of games, one of which was Star Wars: Battlefront 3, once it was cancelled, and all the assets were being gathered up to send back to Skywalker Ranch, one of the play test cartages for the PSP version got left behind....

In a livestream interview with composing software Reason Studios, Stardew creator Eric Barone showed off some of the music from the forthcoming game (thanks PC Gamer). That included a track called “beeboss”, complete with buzzing melodies. “Not all of Haunted Chocolatier is this upbeat salsa music. That’s actually an oddball,” said Barone, offering to play another piece called Pristine Snow that’s more in-line with Stardew’s ambient tracks with its gentle piano and sombre oboe melody....

Whilst it’s “mostly a modding-focused update”, creator Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone says there “will be some new content”, but advised players to temper expectations, as it “won’t be huge”. Asked if his follow-up game, Haunted Chocolatier, will have references to the wholesome farming sim, Barone said that there would be, but said he didn’t know “how deep the connection will be” as he’s keen for his upcoming title to “have its own identity”....

Probably the best-known game among them is Raji: An Ancient Epic, a game we’ve talked about a fair bit on Eurogamer. It’s an action adventure a bit like Tomb Raider, a bit like Devil May Cry, and a bit like something from Hades-maker Supergiant. And it’s very good, as the comparisons suggest. There’s a demo of Raji available now. Other demos include those for an intriguing-looking narrative game called Forgotten Fields, out today, and a tea garden simulator called Two Leaves and a Bud (presumably not the beer)....

The first thing you’ll notice about Stray on PS5 is its install size - at 7GB, it’s remarkable for being almost half the 13GB install on PS4, likely down to more efficient data compression on the new system. Despite its relatively slight profile on PS5’s SSD, Stray packs a grand sense of scale and atmosphere with it, and each location is meticulously layered with ornamental detail. THe world design is what really makes Stray special; a cat-meets-cyberpunk aesthetic that proves striking on any platform you might own....

This early look began by introducing the story and main characters of The Devil In Me, and setting up its stakes. Supermassive’s latest horror chapter centres on Lonnit Entertainment, a small TV production company developing a documentary series on famous serial killers, and a gentleman named Granthem Du’Met, who inherited a hotel with reproductions of rooms from HH Holmes’ infamous “Murder Castle”. Once the team arrives to meet Du’Met, however, it’s clear the hotel is a much more accurate reproduction than they previously realised....

The show - which will retell the story of the Citadel space station and its rogue AI, SHODAN - is a collaboration between Nightdive Studios, which currently holds the System Shock license, and Binge.com, an “immersive streaming platform created for the gaming universe”. As now detailed by Deadline, Russo - who, in addition to his work on last year’s Mortal Kombat movie, has written the script for New Line Cinema’s upcoming Space Invaders film, and is currently adapting Saints Row - will both write and direct the live-action System Shock series, previously said to be aiming to air on Binge....

For the King received a generous helping of free DLC updates following its launch on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch, adding the likes of new nautical adventures, journeys to icebound climes, and even a special “uncooperative mode”. Lost Civilization, however, will be For the King’s first paid expansion - or Adventure Pack, as IronOak is calling it - and introduces a brand-new jungle region, arena battles, wands and dual wielding, two new playable characters, and “tons of” new enemies and loot....

King’s Bounty 2 is developer 1C Entertainment’s first stab at a numbered King’s Bounty sequel (it’s been intermittently releasing new instalments since acquiring the series rights in 2007), and ambitiously aims to combine the first game’s celebrated turn-based tactical action with more modern third-person, open-world adventuring. Once a hero has been selected at the start (three are promised, each with their own stories), there are quests to complete and NPCs to meet....

Speaking to IGN, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick said he had “heard the frustration” surrounding the game from fans who felt sidelined, and who have campaigned for more content using the hashtag #SaveRedDeadOnline. “Rockstar Games talks about the updates that are coming, and we’re working on an awful lot at Rockstar Games,” Zelnick said. “I’ve heard the frustration, it’s flattering that they want more content, and more will be said by Rockstar in due time....

One name we should also include, however, is Takeshi Kitano. Better known by his stage name Beat Takeshi in Japan, Kitano rose to prominence in the 70s as a comedian. He later crossed over into film with his international debut as a sadistic prison officer in the 1983 Japanese POW drama, Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence, before becoming a filmmaker in his own right with directorial debut, Violent Cop. But among his wide variety of credits, you could also say that he was a one-time game developer too....

The patches are fairly regular, at a rate of one a week, and due to the min-maxing nature of the game it’s well worth keeping on top of the changes each Teamfight Tactics update brings. Happily for racing fans, things now look much better. Forza Horizon made driving games cool again, indie studios have resurrected the joys of the 90s-style arcade racer, the PC simulation racing scene is more competitive than it’s ever been, and Codemasters has ridden a successful stint on the Formula One licence all the way to an incredible $1.2 billion acquisition by EA, which shows just how highly racing games are valued now....
