A digital release of PSP game Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth - where the series began - will also be released on 29th September. A PC (Steam) version of Valkyrie Elysium will follow on 11th November. The game was announced at the PlayStation State of Play back in March with a look at gameplay. Now there’s a fresh trailer you can watch below. Nintendo is conducting its online play test this weekend (19th / 20th February) in anticipation of Nintendo Switch Sports’ release on 29th of April. This test will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch online users and will not be compatible with Nintendo Switch Lite consoles. European players can register here. US players can register here. Nintendo has reiterated that the gameplay within this test may “not be reflective of the full version of Nintendo Switch Sports” and, as such, players may “experience unexpected behaviors and errors”....

Season six of Halo: The Master Chief Collection launched last night, and it brought with it Waterfall, a Halo Online map now playable in custom games for Halo 3. Waterfall is a snow and ice-themed map with a silenced SMG and Brute plasma rifle placed natively on the map. The trailer below shows it off: Halo Online was the free-to-play PC Halo game based on Halo 3 multiplayer and developed by Saber Interactive that Microsoft pulled offline before it got a full release....

A “basic” Slayer offering will deploy first, with the team at 343 Industries looking to “bolster and expand more variants in a future update”. “Four new playlists: Slayer, Fiesta, FFA, and Tactical Slayer (SWAT) will all be added via a services update on Tuesday, Dec. 14,” wrote 343i’s community manager, Postums, on the Halo subreddit. “As I noted last week, the team’s original plans for a Slayer playlist included a variety of new variants that weren’t going to be ready in time to deploy before the holiday break....

The mega-publisher filed a suit seeking a declaration that Activision’s use and registration of the trademark’s Warzone and Call of Duty Warzone do not infringe on the trademark rights relating to the free-to-play, turn-based Warzone strategy game. Warzone the strategy game came out in 2017. Activision’s battle royale launched three years later, in 2020. The suit, filed on 8th April in the US District Court for the Central District of California, comes in response to a threat of litigation from Randy Ficker, the Washington-based developer of Warzone....

We still believe we can reach an agreement with Activision to provide you with the stats you love.
