However, finding and facing a legendary beast is a much tough proposition that it first appears, even if you are the same level - and so it’s worth taking the time to do some preparation first with a specific strategy....
As spotted by TechRadar, according to SteamCharts - a site that, predictably enough, charts the performance of games on Steam - the global concurrent player count for the new game dropped to just eight players on Wednesday 13th April. Its highest ever peak sits at just 1166 players. In the last 30 days, the average player count has been just 137 simultaneous people. The news comes just a couple of weeks after Platinum Games confirmed that there are “no plans” to scale back the development of Babylon’s Fall despite its less than stellar launch launch month....

The thing is, I have had a brilliant time. Snowtopia is a tycoon game in early access. You have a pristine mountain and then you turn it into a business. You keep everyone happy and fill the slopes with great lines and then you sit back and watch it all work. Or watch it all fail. But for me, the main appeal at the moment is just the setting. I love these mountains, these beautiful trees....
A tweet from a Bungie employee in June listed a collaboration with African-American streamer Uhmaayyze, who the employee described as a hero. The tweet received death threats in response, which was followed by several Bungie employees receiving calls, texts, and voicemails from anonymous callers on their personal phones filled with racial slurs, reports The Record. During the show we’ll get our first look at gameplay of Resident Evil Village, “and lots more Resident Evil news”. Perhaps that suggests we’ll see announcements around other new upcoming Resident Evil games, and maybe a release date for Village. Resident Evil Village is a direct follow-up to the superb Resident Evil 7, and is due out on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at some point in 2021....
Hidden in the trailer’s small print is word that Capcom’s odd-looking astronaut and small girl-starring Pragmata will now arrive in 2023. It was previously slated for launch in 2022. There’s also a slightly more definitive “March” 2021 launch window for the intriguing Kena: Bridge of Spririts, instead of simply “spring”. Square Enix’s mysterious Project Athia, in development at Luminous Productions, has been given a January 2022 release date. It’s a PS5 console exclusive for two years, so don’t expect that on Xbox Series S/X until January 2024....
It is, of course, complete bollocks. Much like playing Back 4 Blood won’t prep you for a real-world zombie apocalypse, bingeing true crime documentaries hasn’t taught me much that I can apply to real-life bar one exception (shout “Fire!” and not “Help!” if you’re at risk as that’s more likely to attract assistance; you’re welcome), and that became abundantly clear when I stepped into Singapore’s shadowy underbelly and into the shoes of Amira Darma, a freshly-minted private investigator who, as it so often goes, ends up embroiled in something she hadn’t quite been expecting....
Cities: VR is the work of Fast Travel Games, and the developer stresses its new edition isn’t a direct port of Skylines - “VR does not allow for the size and scale of the PC version”, it notes - instead choosing to emphasise “more intimate experiences set in smaller areas”. Even so, it retains Skylines’ core strategic city planning, giving players the tools to construct their metropolis piece by piece - from roads to neighbourhoods to districts - while juggling its economy, emergency services, and education and entertainment needs along the week....
Plazas and Promenades, which was announced back in August, brings a new pedestrianisation focus to developer Colossal Order’s acclaimed city builder, giving players the tools needed to add pedestrian-only streets, pedestrian zones, and zone-specific policies. Pedestrian Streets can be placed like any other road to create green city centres largely free of vehicles and pollution. These work in tandem with new pedestrian zones which can be augmented with new policies, such as Slow Driving (reducing the speed limit for all vehicles in the area to 20km an hour), and Street Music, which boosts happiness in pedestrianised commercial zones at the expense of noise pollution....
First up in the Leader Pass’ inaugural DLC, known as the Great Negotiations Pack, is Abraham Lincoln, representing the United States. Lincoln abides by the Preserver of the Union agenda - meaning he only likes civilisations with the same form of government - and makes use of his Emancipation Proclamation ability, which has a number of different effects depending on the expansions players have installed. Those with just the base game get +2 Amenities for Industrial Zones and their buildings, but receive -1 Amenities for Plantations....
Originally announced in 2017, Alvo was cancelled in 2018 after the developer Mardonpol “lost funding from our investor”. Thankfully the project was resurrected later the following year and this week, Alvo has finally launched on PSVR. The game’s long-awaited PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions will now not launch until “the first quarter of 2022”, CD Projekt has now said. An exact new date was not given. The Witcher 3’s PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions will now arrive even later still, currently in the second quarter of next year. CD Projekt Red broke the news via a Twitter post this afternoon, nearly a year after the game’s much-delayed and ultimately disastrous launch for PS4 and Xbox One (and also PC, where it went pretty well)....
Redditor Strikielol uploaded a clip of the glitch in action to the Cyberpunk sub: Here’s how it works: first, equip the Maneuvering System cyberware mod in a Nervous System slot (get the mod from Octavio’s Clinic at Arroyo, Santo Domingo). This allows you to perform dodges in mid-air - or, as Strikie reveals, dash. Now, out in the wild, jump then dash forward just before you hit the ground. the timing can be tricky, but as you build up momentum, you can move incredibly fast - much faster, clearly, than the developers intended for V to move....
Taking place in the Fluorescent Canal region, as with other public events, there is a hidden Resonant Splinter Heroic version you can unlock if you perform the correct actions. You’ll want to act fast to activate it, as portions of the event and its Heroic variant are timed. Powerful foes await as well, so you want to do some levelling first if you’re not quite strong enough.
