The video, below, is a story trailer called “Ticking”. It shows off all four members of the Suicide Squad in the game: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, as well as a look at Penguin, “evil” Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and a few other bits and bobs. Unfortunately, the ongoing DC FanDome event has yet to unearth a gameplay trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which is due out on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at some point in 2022....

Things got off to an exciting start with in the form of Monaco 2, the sequel to Pocketwatch Games’ acclaimed heist caper. Unsurprisingly, chaotic heists remain the focus in this follow-up, but there’s a new emphasis on verticality in the procedurally generated stages - made possible thanks to a visual style shift to fully, isometric 3D. It’ll also be playable solo and co-operatively, although probably not for some time, given it’s still “early” in development....

It was a simple fan post from Twitter user Pocklecool that once more brought “Bread Boy” back to the fore of our minds, commenting on the fact that the game’s shorthand for being in Paris was a small boy delightedly twirling a baguette in his arms. PlayStation’s open world sequel released on both PS4 and PS5 (as did Miles Morales). 68 percent of its boxed sales were for PS5, meaning a third were for PS4. Horizon: Forbidden West is also the second-largest boxed game launch of the year so far in the UK, with roughly half the physical sales of Nintendo Switch exclusive Pokémon Legends: Arceus. As reported by GamesIndustry.biz, physical sales of Forbidden West were down 35 percent on 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn, despite the series’ reputation having grown over the last five years and this sequel seeing a sizable marketing campaign....

But it would now appear that CDPR was inspired by its Witcher community, and as a result is building this new school into its video game series. Following Wave 1’s release, data miner Fishguy6564 shared a video of Mario Kart 8’s track selection screen with the Booster Course Pass’ ten remaining cups unlocked, complete with the platform origin of each included track. The then-unreleased Wave 2’s Turnip Cup, for instance, was shown to contain four tracks taken from Mario Kart Tour, SNES, N64, and DS, while Propeller Cup listed tracks from Tour, GBA, Wii, and a final, yet to be defined course....

The next two character packs for the game - Rogue One and the Classic Characters Pack - are now available priced £2.49/$3, or as part of the game’s £12/$15 Character Collection season pass.
